Race Weekend

Cairngorm CC has been running events since its formation in 1970 though the first event spanning a full weekend is believed to have been the Spey Valley Racing Weekend in 1986, which was itself a dry run for the Tour of Speyside (1987-96). However, the first race weekend in the present format was probably in 1990 and it has run every year since and attracts riders from across the UK.
